This site is a tribute to Leonard Vaughan, who worked superb carvings from wood. His feel for his subject was immense, and the detail and loving care applied to the pieces makes them come alive.

Over a twenty year period he created the statues and abstracts shown in this site. Sadly we cannot describe how they feel—each one is a masterpiece of careful finishing, bringing a soft, warm feel when touching any of the pieces. But we can show you what they looked like.
